What is included in the tour?
Hosted welcome celebration, preparation, and orientation. Your motorcycles will be waiting for you when you walk out of the hotel on the first morning, when you return from your tour your motorcycles will be picked up providing a trouble free experience. Gas and Oil for your motorcycle. Daily tour photos, Helmets( you are welcome to bring your own). Daily breakfast and lunch ( dinner will be your choice to provide more variety), dining recommendations will be given each night. Entrance fees to all National Parks and attractions planned as part of our tour. On some tours, we will be enjoying local festivals at some of our destinations, spectating at a famous motorsports race ( The Pikes Peak Hillclimb) is included on one of our tours.
Concierge Service
Tour leader, support vehicle, secured door to door luggage service. Parking fees, entrance fees to any state or national park or attractions. Daily itinerary and maps. Beverages and snacks while riding between destinations. An additional guide on tours with 4 or more motorcycles, we will provide a backup motorcycle in the unlikely event that something prevented you from completing your tour on your rented motorcycle. Only available on tours with 4 or more motorcycles.
Accommodations
We stay at the finest and most interesting accommodations available.
Transportation
Shuttle transportation from the airport and local accommodations.
Support Vehicle
Our support vehicle will always be following our tours: to carry your luggage, provide snacks and beverages, help with problems if they arise, or to provide a ride if you need a break or don't feel well.
Not Included
Optional Experiences
Depending on were your tour goes we have optional experiences to enjoy along the way. It can be guided canyoneering, white water rafting, fly fishing, horseback tours, helicopter tours, off-road tours, boat tours, special events, etc.

Deposit
How do I pay for the tour?
Forms of payments accepted:
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Paypal, Check payments payable to Knowwhere Motorcycle Touring, LLC
When you book a tour you are sent a 'payment receipt' with a confirmation number. You will receive an outline of your tour start and end dates and times, all associated tour costs, monies applied, balance due, and additional information. Final tour information will be sent after the final payment is received.
In all cases, in order to book a tour, a deposit will be required. The amount will vary depending on which tour you choose.
The standard payment process for Knowwhere Motorcycle Touring:
A non refundable deposit of 50% of the booked tour price is required at the time of confirmation. The non refundable deposit secures accommodations and the motorcycle rental.
The remaining 50% of the booked price is due 60 days prior to the tour start date.
If the booking is made less than 60 days before departure 100% is required at the time of confirmation.
If, following the deposit at the time of booking, any balance remains unpaid within 30 days of the departure date, we reserve the right to treat your booking as cancelled. Cancellation charges are applied as shown below.
Recommended Options
It is highly recommended to have trip cancellation insurance, as well as travel, health, and accident insurance.
Cancellation Policies
A nonrefundable deposit of $US fifty percent (50%) of the tour cost is required at the time of booking. This nonrefundable deposit secures hotel bookings and a motorcycle. The balance is due sixty (60) days before the tour starts. If the total balance is not received 60 days before the tour starts, Knowwhere Motorcycle Touring LLC reserves the right to cancel the reservation and the participant loses the deposit or transfers the deposit to a tour booking for an alternate KnowwhereMotorcycle Touring LLC tour within one year.
Cancellations received less than 60 days prior to the date of the tour start will be subject to a loss of fifty percent (50%) of the tour fee. Cancellations received less than thirty (30) days prior to tour departure will be subject to a loss of the entire tour fee. Lost tour fees due to cancellation can be transferred to a tour booking for the following year. Should Knowwhere Motorcycle Touring LLC be able to fill the once- reserved position we will refund to you the amount paid by the replacement
rider for that slot.
Knowwhere Motorcycle Touring LLC is responsible for providing the services listed in the tour descriptions; however, due to situations beyond its control, such as road construction, hotel closures, weather or acts of God, Knowwhere Motorcycle Touring LLC reserves the right without prior notice to withdraw any part or all of the tour or to make such changes as may be necessary.
You must send any cancellation or amendment request to Knowwhere Motorcycle Touring, LLC in writing and will not take effect until we send a confirmation of receipt back to the traveling party.
If after the booking confirmation has been issued, you wish to change your tour arrangements in any way, we will do our best to assist you in changing your tour arrangements , but cannot guarantee that this will be possible. Any request for changes must be in writing from the person that booked the tour. Please note that accommodations apply a 50% - 100% amendment/cancellation charge and will be subject to the terms and conditions of those individual facilities.
While we hope we never have to cancel your trip, this is very occasionally necessary and we reserve the right to do so. We will offer alternative arrangements of a comparable value, or will give you a full and prompt refund of your tour.
What is required to rent a motorcycle?
You must be 21 years of age to rent a motorcycle.
Licenses issued from the United States: All 50 states require a motorcycle endorsement on your drivers license that is equivalent to the motorcycle you are renting.
Trikes: A three-wheel vehicle endorsement may be required.
Here are some examples of alternative licenses that we accept:
Licenses issued by the European Union(Germany, Italy, France, United Kingdom, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Republic of Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, and Sweden):
A1/A2 - Will allow you to rent scooters.
A - Will allow you to rent motorcycles or scooters.
B1 - Will allow you to rent three-wheeled vehicles.
Licenses issued from Canada: For all provinces except for Ontario
Ontario:
Class M1/M2 - Will allow you to rent scooters.
Class M - Will allow you to rent motorcycles or scooters.
Class M Condition M- Will allow you to rent three-wheeled vehicles.
Licenses issued from Australia:
R-Date - Will allow you to rent scooters.
R- Will allow you to rent motorcycles or scooters.
Licenses issued from Brazil:
Category A - Designation on your drivers license to ride any motorcycle or scooter.
International Drivers Permits
Although not required, it is recommended for all visitors with a license in a foreign language to obtain an IDP.
So long as your license is understandable, we will accept it.

Optional Motorcycle Damage Waiver:
VIP Theft and Damage $21/day, Renter, pays up to $2,000 USD for damage to the motorcycle and $2,000 USD per occurrence of theft.
EVIP Theft and Damage $26/day, Renter, pays up to $1,000 USD for damage to the motorcycle and $1,000USD per occurrence of theft.
Essentials
Personal helmets, jackets, pants, gloves, rain gear, layers, boots, eye protection.
Tour Safety
Buddy riders; riders will pair up into teams for safety and coordination. They will be given a detailed itinerary and map for each day's ride in the unlikely event they become separated from the group. Determining the ride pace will be by the wishes of the participants; we will always have the option of spirited or relaxed paces.
First Aid
All of our tours have first-aid trained guides with appropriate supplies.
Support Vehicle
Our support vehicle will always be following our tours to provide snacks and beverages, shelter from the elements, transport in case of illness, or first-aid supplies if needed
